The history and origin of the game is not brought to lime light but according to the records the game poker texas hold em had its birthplace in Robstown, Texas in the early 1900s. After the game was well recognized poker texas holdem was moved to Las Vegas. In Las Vegas the game was popularized by a Texan gamblers and card players, but still the familiarity of the game did not reach the masses. After Crandall adding ton, Roscoe Weiser and group worked so much to bring out the effectiveness of the game it became popular in 1969. Till 1967 the game was played at only one Inn called Casino in Las Vegas. Only then these Texan gamblers invited the Las Vegas professionals to play the game in 1969. But the try was not so successful. At last at the same annual year Tom Moore added the poker holdem tournament to the second held Gambling Convention.
From then onwards the interest in the game started growing steadily for nearly two decades. The gambler come writer named Doyle Brunson wrote a book that describes the strategy of the poker game. After that the book ‘The Biggest Game in town’ portrayed all the international poker players and screened the game to its very best.
